Low glycemic index is positive

  • It improves blood glucose and lipids for diabetes,

  • It helps control the weight,

  • It reduces the sensation of hunger,

  • It also reduces insulin and insulin-resistance.

Carbohydrates contained in the three vegetables (peas, chickpeas, lentils ) are considered as having a particularly low content of blood glucose

is a criterion for classifying food containing carbohydrates, based on their effects on blood glucose: content of glucose in blood for the first two hours after ingestion. It makes it possible to compare the power of glucose in each type of food measured directly during digestion.
